20 Hours a week (Monday to Friday)
Temporary for up to six months
The purpose of this role is to provide efficient and effective clerical administrative support to the branch. You will be the first point of contact for members of the public, dealing with general enquiries (face to face and over the telephone) referring on to the appropriate member of staff when necessary. You will be required to ensure referrals, statistics and volunteer and victim records are recorded, stored and maintained accordingly. You will be required to ensure all correspondence is dealt with promptly and to maintain the office diary ensuring the efficient running of the service.
The ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both face to face and on the telephone is required. A good level of computer literacy with the ability to use a PC to produce correspondence, reports and input and extract information is essential. You must be willing to travel throughout Cumbria, working some unsocial hours and undertake appropriate training
